Soak Up the Essence of Niagara
The Niagara story continues to grow and evolve each year. In April 2023, Niagara Cider founded by Matt Dixon and Rich Houghton became part of the Bench family and its cider production moved into the Bench facility in the heart of Niagara. Kaitlin Vandenbosch is now tasked with continuing the journey of great quality cider that showcases the best that Niagara has to offer.
Niagara Cider reflects its origin. Superb growing conditions, great soil and now its own Estate farm providing the most unique and favourable cider possible.

OUR ORCHARD
Niagara is amongst the world’s finest fruit growing regions. We are proud to grow our very own apples at our 12-acre home orchard with the love and attention needed to make great quality, artisanal cider.
Our apples are irrigated with water that has been purified and repurposed from our brewing facility for re-use for growing apples. It’s part of our Zero Wastewater commitment and helps us grow amazing apples while repurposing 8-10 million litres of water annually. We also reuse the organic by-products of the purification process to help fertilize the land and keep our soil and trees healthy and able to produce great apples for our cider.
The project is approved by OMAFRA and overseen by the Ministry of Environment.
